A REVIEW ON THE SYNTHESIS AND THERAPEUTIC POTENTIAL OF PYRIMIDINE DERIVATIVES
AbstractThe chemistry of pyrimidine is a blossoming field. Numerous method for the synthesis of pyrimidine and also their diverse reactions offer enormous scope in the filed of medicinal chemistry. The utility of pyrimidines as synthon for various biologically active compounds has given impetus to these studies. The review article aims to review the work reported and the chemistry and biological activities of pyrimidines during past year.
