AbstractThe rising burden of cancer worldwide calls for an indispensable treatment result. Herbal drug provides a veritably doable volition to western drug against cancer. This composition reviews the named plant species with active phytochemicals, the animal models used for these studies, and their nonsupervisory aspects. This study is grounded on a scrupulous literature review conducted through the hunt of applicable keywords in databases, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Twenty shops were named grounded on defined selection criteria for their potent anticancer composites. The detailed analysis of the exploration studies revealed that plants play a necessary part in fighting different cancers similar as bone, stomach, oral, colon, lung, hepatic, cervical, and blood cancer cell lines.
