ANTI- INFLAMMATORY, ANALGESIC & ULCEROGENIC ACTIVITY OF KETOPROFEN GLUCOPYRANOSIDE CONJUGATES
AbstractKetoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Glucopyranoside Conjugates of Ketoprofen have been synthesized and evaluated for anti- inflammatory, analgesic and ulcerogenic activities. In vivo biological screening in mice and rats indicated that conjugates improved analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities with significantly reduced ulcerogenicity compared to the parent drug.
