CHEMISTRY AND BIOACTIVITY OF CINNAMALDEHYDE: A NATURAL MOLECULE OF MEDICINAL IMPORTANCE
AbstractCinnamaldehyde is derived from the cinnamon essential oil (EO) having many biological and pharmacological significance. This review article explains the source, chemistry, physico-chemical characteristics of the molecule. The synthesis of its different analogous has been duly highlighted. The different applications narrating the various usage have been reported. It is expected that this review shall serve as a base material for future research in various directions.
