Its various parts has been reported for various disease conditions viz. fever, swellings, jaundice, gonorrhea, bilious fever, itches, eczema, and rheumatism cold, headache, whooping cough, asthma, chicken pox, and bronchitis in various traditional literature. The various remarkable researches on biological activities and medicinal application have been reported during past four decades and established it as an important nutraceuticals agent. Carica papaya Linn. leaf has been scientifically studied for various therapeutic activities like antibacterial, antioxidant, antipyretic, insecticidal, antimicrobial, anti-molluscal etc. In view of this leaves have been explored through several advanced techniques like phyto-extraction of heavy metals, phytoremediation of particulate pollution and many others. Various studies on phytoconstituents and chemical composition of leaves have been reported in last few decades. The present review aims an exploration of pharmacognostical, phytochemical and...

Medicinal plants and natural products have many applications in the treatment of viral diseases, due to much lower side effects. Different types of hepatitis, especially hepatitis B, are of the viral diseases whose treatment using herbal medicines is currently of great interest due to the limited availability of effective chemical drugs and having numerous side effects. Due to the attention paid to herbal drugs and their importance for the treatment of hepatitis B, we conducted this review to take a look at the evidence regarding the action mechanisms of viruses, antiviral herbal remedies and various herbal anti-hepatitis drugs and their therapeutic mechanism published until 2017. To provide data for conducting this review, the most up-to-date electronic journals including those indexed in the Pubmed, Elsevier, Institute for Scientific Information, Google Scholar and Scientific Information Database databases and various books, has been used. There are several plants for the treatment of viral diseases, including hepatitis B, which prevent or decrease infection via various mechanisms. Medicinal plants counteract viruses by various mechanisms,...

Bioanalysis is a sub-discipline of analytical chemistry covering the quantitative measurement of xenobiotics (drugs and their metabolites and biological molecules in unnatural locations or concentration) and biotics (macromolecules, proteins, DNA, large molecule drugs, metabolites) in biological system. The focus of bioanalysis in the pharmaceutical industry is to provide as quantitative measure of the active drug and/or its metabolite(s) for the purpose of pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, bioequivalence and exposure response (pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics studies). Over the past several years dried matrix spot (DMS) sampling technique has emerged as a pertinent method in both qualitative and quantitative bioanalysis context. There are many types of DMS techniques such as dried blood spot (DBS), dried plasma spot (DPS), dried urine spot (DUS) and dried breast milk spot (DBMS). The most commonly used technique is DBS wherein the blood sample is directly soaked on to a paper (with or without treatment) and after drying it can be analyzed by modern analytical, immunological or genomic detection systems. Several advantages of DMS techniques such as low sample...

Cerebral palsy is main general motor disability in the infancy and 2 to 2.5 per 1000 live births affected by the cerebral palsy. The movement restrictions in the cerebral palsy are credited to non-progressive interruption that occurs in developing brain of the infants. It is characterized by means of spasticity, weakness of muscle, primitive reflexes loss, interfering of growth of normal motor control. The motor disorders of the cerebral palsy are frequently accompanied as a result of disturbances of the cognition, sensation, perception, communication and behaviour. The frequent threat factors are, multiple pregnancy, prematurity, small-for-gestational age and infections of the maternal genitourinary. The causal pathways, classification of cerebral palsy and prognostication can play a role in development to prevent the cerebral palsy and arrangement of health services to assemble the desires of the affected infants with disease. This paper covers the causes, clinical features, types, risk factors, pathophysiology and complications of cerebral...
