Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with Gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel (Gemcitabine + Nab-Paclitaxel) And Folfirinox (Folfirinox) are two standard therapies for patients who has locally advanced pancreatic cancer (Lapc). We retrospectively compared the efficacy and safety of the two treatment regimens in patients with unresectable pancreatic cancer. The sample size consisted of 96 patients who has locally advanced pancreatic cancer. (Gnp) Gemcitabine and nab–paclitaxel is Group I (N=53), and Folfirinox consisting of leucovorin, fluorouracil, irinotecan and oxaliplatin is Group II (N=43). The Primary objectives of our study were to compare toxicities between gemcitabine + Nab-Paclitaxel And Folfirinox and to evaluate the safety of these regimens The secondary objective was % reduction of tumor, Surgery (% of patients who underwent surgery) and overall survival both estimated using the independent t- test and chi-square test. Background: Bhāraṅgī, herbal drug used in Ayurveda as Kapha–Vata samaka and indicated in Swasa, Kasa, Vrana, Shotha etc. It is an important ingredient in many of the preparations like Kantakaryavaleha, Kanakasava, Dasamularista, Lodhrasavam, Sudarsanasavam. As per API the accepted source of Bhāraṅgī is Rotheca serrata (L.) Steane & Mabb belongs to family Lamiaceae. Our study’s objective was to determine the effect of a high-fat diet also on concentrations of leptin, adiponectin, as well as other inflammatory indicators in type 2 diabetes mellitus brought on by streptozotocin (STZ)-induced endothelial dysfunction (T2DM). In this study matrix tablets of metronidazole were prepared by direct compression method which is now days considered a cost effective and simple method of manufacturing. It is considered as an appropriate method for hygroscopic and thermolabile substances. Six formulations of different polymer percentages were formulated (F1-F9). The mean hardness values were measured for all the formulation using Monsanto hardness tester. The hardness value ranges from 5.2±0.2 to 5.8±0.1kg/cm2. Twenty tablets were randomly selected from each formulation and evaluated. The obtained data were almost uniform. The values of tablets average weight ranging from 549±5 to 558±7mg. All the tablets passed weight variation test as the % weight variation was within the USP Pharmacopoeia’s limits of ±5% of the weight. The % drug content of all the formulated tablets were found within the limit. % Drug content value of drug was within 98.12±0.25% to 99.85±0.18%.
