Worldwide, glaucoma is the second most important cause of blindness and irreversible vision loss. Raised IOP (Intraocular Pressure) is not always a mark of glaucoma; it is a key risk factor and a cause of glaucomatous optic neuropathy. Herbal preparations have various active and inactive compounds which are not standardized likewise, Camellia sinensis and Areca catechu having various active constituents such as polyphenolic compounds, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, quercetin, etc which are having few therapeutic responses that are not yet reported. Aim is to study the pharmacological responses of drugs for Glaucoma. Drugs were authenticated by botanist of SUK. Camellia sinensis was extracted with ethanol, and Areca catechu was extracted using hydroalcohol by Soxhlet method. The extracted powder was analyzed by UV, FTIR, and phytochemical screening were carried out. Phytochemical test confirms the presence of phytoconstituents. The extract was administered by formulating an ocular film using polymers such as chitosan and HPMC. The film was evaluated for folding endurance, thickness, drug content uniformity, pH, eye irritancy test, sterility and In vitro drug...

Background: The herbal drugs used in traditional medicine are proven more effective and safe compared to synthetic drugs for managing lifestyle diseases, including liver toxicity. Objective: The present investigation aimed to evaluate the hepatoprotective potentials of ethanol extract of Euphorbia heterophylla leaves against ethanol-induced liver damage in rats. Methodology: The acute oral toxicity study was conducted according to guidelines No 425 prescribed by OECD. The extract was proved safe up to 2000mg/kg. Ethanol-induced hepatotoxicity in rats model was used to assess the protective properties of ethanol extract of Euphorbia heterophylla. The serum, such as (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, albumin, total protein, ions was determined. And other parameters like clotting time, liver weight, liver histopathology, and liver antioxidant enzymes were also examined. Results: In toxic control animals treated with ethanol alone, there were variations in the parameters mentioned above. But in the animals treated with ethanol extract of Euphorbia heterophylla (EEEH) and standard drug silymarin, all the parameters were normal, possibly due to their beneficial property...

Most of the population (>20%) have urticaria once somewhere in the life. The conventional management of this condition is associated with long-term effects of anti-allergic drugs and inexorable recurrence. Homoeopathic medicines help to reduce the hypersensitivity and recurrence in a gentle and permanent way. The present study is done to assess the effect of homoeopathic medicine in case of chronic urticaria. Case Summary: The below mentioned case is related to Cholinergic urticaria, one of the types of Physical urticaria in a young male who was given Psorinum as an Individualized prescription. The change in the assessment score done by UAS7 Urticaria Activity Score which was 42 at the baseline and 2 at the end of the treatment. MYMOP2 Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile 2 was 4.5 and after treatment was 1....
