Remogliflozin Etabonate, Metformin, Vildagliptin are anti-diabetic drugs. It inhibits the sodium-glucose transport proteins (SGLT), which are responsible – for glucose reabsorption in the kidney. Blocking this transporter causes blood glucose to be eliminated through the urine. Several attempts were made on simultaneous analysis of Metformin with either Vildagliptin or Remogliflozin but no work were carried out on simultaneous analysis of all three drugs combination. In the present work, efforts are made to develop a simple new accurate, precise and linear reverse phase high performance liquid Chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method for simultaneous estimation of Remogliflozin etabonate (RGE), Metformin (MET) and Vildagliptin (VGN) in bulk drug and marketed tablet formulation Different analytical performance parameters such as linearity, precision, accuracy, specificity, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were determined according to International Conference on Harmonization ICH Q2B guidelines. Chromatographic separation was achieved on Acclaimed Mix Mode HILIC-1 column (150 mm × 4.6 mm, 5µm) applying an isocratic elution based on 20 mM ammonium acetate: acetonitrile (75:25, v/v) as a mobile...

Diabetes is currently not well managed in the allopathic medical system. The dysfunction and damage to several organs, including as the blood vessels, heart, nerve fibres eyes, kidneys, and, neurons are chronic repercussions of long-term blood glucose elevations. There are many different therapy options available, but they frequently have negative side effects and cannot provide complete relief. The key to addressing these kinds of problems is to identify novel therapeutic targets and use them in conjunction with the present diabetes treatment approaches. Herbal plants are now being used by researchers to combat the negative impacts of currently available medications. When managing diabetes using conventional treatment. Herbal plants are now being used by researchers to combat the bad impacts of currently available medications. Therefore, it is essential to develop more modern, plant-based medicinal approaches that can be safer and more accessible. This study looked at the anti-diabetic effects of different Mooringa oleifera species parts, including the fruits, seeds, leaves, pods flowers, and stems. The resulting extract was administered to diabetic-induced...

The epidermal growth factor receptor is a tyrosine kinase receptor and its overexpression triggers cancers. EGFR inhibition is one of the most unique and popular technique for cancer treatment. There are various approved EGFR inhibitors like osmertinib, lapatinib, afatinib, etc. Huge natural products are discovered every year and Rhamnocitrin derivative Tupichinol E obtained from the Northern Sikkim plant Tupistra nutans is structurally similar to EGFR inhibitors. Structurally similar EGFR inhibitors, their modes of binding and mechanism of actions are a new way to select lead compounds for better alternatives. Therefore molecular docking is done to find a potential anti-EGFR flavonoid. Osmertinib shows binding energy -107.23 kcal/mol with EGFR, while Tupichinol E shows binding energy -98.89 kcal/mol. Tupichinol E shows 1.5 times more binding affinity than osmertinib. The compound binds to the EGFR at the same exact position as osmertinib and has the same docking poses. Tupichinol E binding to EGFR stabilises the protein structure and is a pharmacologically active substance that can be used against cancer due to its...

Dolutegravir, an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI), is a BCS class II, poorly soluble antiretroviral medication that has been licenced by the FDA for the treatment of HIV infections. DTG has a number of drawbacks, including limited oral bioavailability (16%), hepatotoxicity, and instability in an acidic environment. Due to the medication’s limited solubility, 84% of the dose is eliminated from the body after oral administration in an unaltered state. Lipid-based nanoparticles have been chosen for the current research study as a viable drug delivery technology to help with the aforementioned challenges. Melt emulsification sonication procedure was used with CAPMUL MCM EP, Glyceryl monostearate, TWEEN 80, SPAN 80, and other ingredients, a total of six formulations were created. The formulations’ particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, drug concentration, drug entrapment effectiveness, in-vitro release, and other factors were assessed. The prepared formulations demonstrated zeta potential of -11.78 to-26.6, in-vitro drug release of between 62 and 80.32 percent, and particle sizes varying from 155 to 205 nm. The best formulation, according to...

Aging is defined as decreased maximal function and reserve capacity in all body, organs, resulting in an increased likelihood of disease and death. One of the reasons for Premature Aging is deficiency of Vitamin D3. The main aim of the research work is to develop and evaluate the Nanoparticle based Anti-aging cream of Vitamin D3 for Premature aging. Six formulations were prepared by Nano precipitation method using Poloxamer 407 as polymeric stabilizer. It was then incorporated into cream base. FT-IR studies were carried out to determine the drug-excipient compatibility. The prepared Nano-suspension was subjected to evaluations including particle size, zeta potential, drug entrapment efficiency and drug content. The formulated cream was tested for pH, Spreadability, Viscosity and in-vitro drug release. From the preliminary trial, F4 was found to be the best formulation. It was then fitted to Box-Behnken design with three independent variables including concentration of Stearic acid (X1), KOH (X2), Glycerine (X3) and two dependent variables – Spreadability (Y1) and In-vitro drug release (Y2). Among the 15 runs,...
