The concept of quality by design (QbD), which entails understanding the essential components and their interaction effects by a desired set of tests, has lately gained relevance in developing analytical. To validate the simultaneous quantification of Ertugliflozin and Sitagliptin in bulk drugs and its pharmaceutical formulation, the present study discusses the development of the Reverse Phase-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-HPLC) method by the QbD methodology employing the Design of Experiments. The three essential elements of the RP-HPLC method-Flow rate (ml/min), Mobile phase (%), and temperature (oC) are systematically explored in an effective experimental design that is provided. Statistical analysis tools were used to assess the significant impact of these parameters and their interactions with the response variables (Retention time and tailing factor). The 260nm optimized wavelength was chosen. Ertugliflozin and Sitagliptin were shown to have retention times of 3.897 and 2.527 minutes, respectively. Cancer is a preminent cause of death worldwide after heart disease. Although there are many types of cancer treatments, depending on the type of cancer and its stages, due to their complexity and adverse cytotoxic effects, some novel targets at the molecular level that are cancer-specific have become the area of research for more than a decade. Some targets have been identified, and CDKs are among them. They play a pivotal role in the cell cycle. This has directed to developing of novel Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitors with a major emphasis on designing compounds that can effectively inhibit the cell cycle progression in cancer by inhibiting the CDKs selectively, such as abemaciclib. Objective: Gingival recession is one of the most common mucogingival defects for which patients seek periodontal therapy. Background: An emerging respiratory disease was abbreviated as COVID 19, after it has been first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan city of China. The major route of transmission of COVID-19 is droplet and close contact. Government of India has initiated training for health care workers at a different level. WHO and CDC also initiated a multidisciplinary approach to tackle COVID-19 of which awareness creation is the main. Thus, the main objective of this study is to assess knowledge, attitude, and practices of medical undergraduates within periphery of Gujarat, India towards COVID-19. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 505 medical students were surveyed online using developed, validated questionnaire during two week period. A p-value of <0.05 indicated statistical significance. Results: Among 505 students, 59% (n= 298) are males and 41% (n=207) are females. In this present study, a simple, effective, and accurate method has been developed for estimating itraconazole and terbinafine in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form using UV Visible spectrophotometer. Two methods were developed: the simultaneous equation method, also known as vierordt’s method, and the other absorbance ratio method, also known as Q value method. In the simultaneous equation method, maximum absorption was found at 229 nm for itraconazole and at 223 nm for terbinafine. In the absorbance ratio method, two different wavelengths were selected, 229 is being the lmax of one drug and 225nm is another iso-bestic wavelength. The linearity was found in the range of 5 -25µg/ml for both drugs and methods, with the correlation coefficient (R2) of itraconazole and terbinafine is 0.999 for simultaneous equation method.
