India, being a mega-diverse country, has extensively cultivated sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) family Gramineae (Poaceae) from ancient to modern times. More than sixty percent of total cane area in the India is in the sub-tropics regions of the country. Gangetic plain of Uttar Pradesh has a fertile area which is highly suitable for agriculture, especially sugarcane cultivation. Sugarcane’s production and juice quality is extensively influenced by several parameters having resiliency like weather, variety, cultivation practices and disease causing organisms. Microbial consortium play important role to several changes in sugarcane from early stages till harvest. The aim of the finding work has been focused to point out the modulation in ascorbic acid content in sugarcane affected with Pokkah boeng disease caused by Fusarium moniliforme Sholden of sugarcane cropping through analysis of regional pattern of its cultivation and level of development of sugarcane. The Pokkah boeng disease (PBD) is a common airborne fungal pathogen Fusarium fujikuroi species and adversely affect the yield losses in different way beyond the thresh hold limit as used...

The Cultivation of Abelmoschus moschatus plants for collecting seeds used for medicinal purposes is affected by Mycotoxins which are substances that moulds create under particular environmental circumstances. These pollutants harm both human and animal health. Mycotoxins are difficult to get rid of and are occasionally impossible. The best control is prevention. Controlling the moisture levels in herbal materials and storage conditions like temperature and/or relative humidity can help avoid the growth of mycotoxins. The different parameters like Harvesting season, Dry grain storage conditions, and crop rotation techniques affect the growth of the mycotoxins. In this trial, the plants are grown using different parameters affecting the production, the packaging material and storage conditions are also varied as per QBD approach and the level of mycotoxins, specifically aflatoxins (G1, G2, B1 & B2) are identified, quantified, and monitored. The Aflatoxins are identified and analyzed using the HPLC-FLD technique, a sophisticated method for estimating the aflatoxin content in ppb levels; the method is validated and provides accurate and precise results in the...

A highly sensitive, simple, accurate and precise Ultra high-performance liquid chromatographic (UHPLC) method was developed and validated for the quantitative determination of sofalcone in the presence of its degradation products. The analysis was performed on Agilent symmetry analytical column Eclipse plus C18 (100mm × 2.1 mm, 1.8μm) ultra-performance liquid chromato-graphy-Diode Array Detectors (UHPLCDAD), while the detection was performed on 350 nm using Diode Array Detectors. Water (0.1% Formic Acid) and Ammonium Acetate in Methanol were the mobile phases, run at a flow rate of 0.3 ml/min for gradient elution. The mean values of recovery were found to be 100.02% and 100.55%. The linear regression data for the calibration plot showed a good relationship with high correlation coefficients. The performance of the method was validated for precision, accuracy and robustness. Sofalcone was subjected to the ICH-prescribed acidic, alkaline, oxidative, photolytic, and thermal stress conditions, and it undergoes degradation with well-resolved degradation products. These degradation products were further analyzed by mass spectrometry to elucidate the structure of degradation products and proposed...

The new Covid-19 virus has reported deaths of around 1 million within about half a year. It has also led to high financial and social crises worldwide. Recent research has been performed to identify suitable treatment procedures. Steps have been taken to develop complicated, costly, and time-consuming vaccines. Viruses are highly potential to develop into perilous diseases. Over 165 vaccines were developed, and 45 are under clinical trials. The cost to manufacture and internationally deploy an efficacious COVID-19 vaccine will be vast, and the process will be at risk of politicization. Even though few countries may deploy COVID-19 vaccines based on the safety and immunogenicity information alone, vaccine development aims to obtain direct proof of vaccine efficacy for protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection. In this review, we have focused on the latest developments in COVID-19 and have sought to resolve the process and present development efforts of the vaccine in progress. Furthermore focused on the potential strategies in optimizing the COVID-19...

Infectious diseases continue to be a major cause of morbidity and mortality, and the current antimicrobial resistance crisis has the potential to worsen this problem. To address this issue, new antimicrobials and strategies for fighting antimicrobial resistance are needed. In this study, we synthesized two arylflouro hydrazide derivatives by reacting various selected hydrazides (4-Fluorobenz-hydrazide) and different substituted aromatic aldehydes (3-Bromo-2-fluoro benzaldehyde and 5-Bromothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde). The compounds were characterized using IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR. The synthesized derivatives were also pharmacologically evaluated using molecular modeling. The biological activity was assessed using an antimicrobial assay, which showed significant activity compared to the standard Ampicillin. Among the synthesized compounds, PD2B exhibited a higher zone of inhibition with 10 mm in E. coli and 12 mm in B. subtilis, whereas PD2F showed a zone of inhibition with 3 mm in E. coli and 8 mm in B....
