Luliconazole is an antifungal medication effective against various fungi, especially filamentous fungi like dermatophytes. This study aimed to develop a topical drug delivery system for luliconazole to reduce the active drug dose, improve patient compliance, minimize side effects, and enhance local absorption and activity. Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) were formulated using stearic acid and poloxamer 188 via the solvent diffusion method to address luliconazole bioavailability barriers. The developed SLN and gel formulations underwent physicochemical testing, in-vitro drug release profiles, and kinetics studies. Successful formulation was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. SLN formulation F1 showed significant entrapment efficacy of 96.87 ± 0.009. The SLNs exhibited unimodal size distribution with a polydispersity index of 0.168, intercept value of 0.98 with 92% peak intensity, and zeta potential of 18.8 mV. The mean particle diameter was 344.3 nm. The G3 gel formulation, containing 1.5% w/v carbopol 934, demonstrated superior entrapment efficacy of 91.39±0.187. It also exhibited a sustained release profile, with 79.57±0.213% of the medication released after 24 hours. These...

Reduced sensitivity of muscles or tissues to insulin is known as insulin resistance. The non-pharmacological management of diabetes, which involves exercise and food modification, has been the primary emphasis of diabetic self-management. Pharmacological therapy includes combination products, phytoconstituents, and oral antihyperglycemics. The limitations of currently available drugs have caused the pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of treating hyperglycaemia to constantly change. The goal of this review is to observe many cutting-edge medication delivery approaches for the treatment of insulin resistance (IR). The development of nanocarrier delivery methods has revolutionized drug administration by addressing concerns such as limited bioavailability of classic dose forms used in diabetes therapy. Through enhancing insulin delivery specificity to target tissues, these systems aim to reduce side effects and optimize treatment efficacy. Because insulin is administered to specific cellular sites via nanocarriers and nanoparticles, this technique strongly depends on nanotechnology. The anti-inflammatory and anti-insulin-resistant properties of phytonutrients in macrophages and adipocytes are enhanced by nanoformulations. An effective vehicle for phytochemicals to stop T2DM in its early stages...

For the treatment of many illnesses and disorders, including gastrointestinal (GI) ailments, several medicinal plants have been used. Most children and adolescents often suffer from GI illnesses, which have overlapping clinical manifestations in diagnosis and treatment requirements. In order to address the symptoms of smooth muscle contraction and cramping in gastrointestinal illnesses as well as in other urgent clinical circumstances, medications having antispasmodic properties are typically used. The treatment of GI illnesses by antispasmodic herbs was a major component of alternative medicine. Due to the numerous nutritional and therapeutic advantages of these medicinal plants and the herbal products they produce, they are utilized from generation to generation. Due to the numerous nutritional and therapeutic advantages of these medicinal plants and the herbal products they produce, they are utilized from generation to generation. The existence of chemical components that are physiologically active may be the cause of the many uses. This review’s major objective is to concentrate on the therapeutic potential of plants with antispasmodic properties and their suggested mechanisms...

Nanotechnology is the idea of using medicines as a small machine inside the human body to detect and treat various diseases. Nanotechnology consists of deformation, separation, and consolidation of material from atoms and molecules due to its quick movement across the small capillaries. It allows immediate treatment to the targeted cells and also has fair use in oncology. Nanotechnology aims to reduce toxicity and side effects from healthy cells and increase the bioavailability and therapeutic effect in the targeted cells. But due to its ability to accumulate in body it can cause cell specific toxicity to overcome the challenge and create safe Nanoparticles green synthesis or preparation of Nanoparticles from biodegradable material like orange peel, eggshell etc are on trend. Nanoparticles based several vaccines also help us to combat global COVID-19 pandemic nanoparticle drug delivery are also becoming boon for some auto-immune diseases. This review describes the methods of preparation, characterization, classification, toxicity, and Nanoparticles...
