SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF SOME NEW BENZOTHIAZOLE DERIVATIVES

Some new hydrazino group substituted benzothiazole derivatives have been synthesized and their characterization was done by IR, NMR and MASS spectral data. The antimicrobial activities of these synthesized compounds was done by cup-plate diffusion method in DMSO against some Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Some of synthesized derivatives exhibited potent activity when compared with standard drug Streptomycin.
