SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERISATION AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF NOVEL OXADIAZOLE DERIVATIVES
AbstractNew 5- phenyl- 1, 3, 4- oxadiazole- 2- thiol derivative was synthesized by the ring closure reactions of benzohydrazides with carbon disulphide in presence of ethanolic KOH followed by substitution with secondary amines at 2nd position. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, NMR and LC-MASS spectral data. Most of them were tested for their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity.
