SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERISATION AND PHARMACOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF NOVEL COUMARIN DERIVATIVES
AbstractIn the present study a new series of coumarin derivatives have been synthesized by condensation of ethyl acetoacetate and resorcinol. The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by means of IR, 1H-NMR and Mass spectral analysis. These compounds were screened for their Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory activities. Among the synthesized compounds II (a-1 to c-3).
