One of the most important difficulties in contemporary medical biology is the creation of a cutting-edge, effective drug delivery system with a considerable improvement in its efficacy and increased therapeutic value. The advancement and development of innovative drug-delivery nanocarrier systems with accuracy and reduced side effects have been made possible by merging nanomaterial science with molecular and cellular biology. Over the past few years, the design and manufacture of nanocarriers using graphene oxide (GO) have grown quickly. Because of its amazing physicochemical features, GO has been widely exploited in efforts to create nanocarriers with high specificity, selectivity, biocompatibility, and minimal cytotoxicity. This review focuses on recent applications, synthesis, of GO-based nanocarriers, and advancements in enceinte drug delivery systems. Following a brief explanation of the principles and difficulties surrounding nanocarrier systems, we offer important illustrations of the transport of drugs and genes using GO. The assessment concludes with a few succinct observations on what is known currently and what the future may hold for nanocarrier delivery...

India may have a potential in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. Pharmaceuticals are difficult to register with the CIS region’s regulating organisation because of the turmoil among these countries. The CIS includes Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Georgia. These call for various regulatory standards for drug registration. Based on the FDA’s recommendations, it will be problematic to have various policies in the same area- activity of exporters and producers; registration of the same product in various nations; work of manufacturers and exporters. The same documents cannot be used to implement CIS due to the lack of regulatory harmonisation. Manufacturers and exporters must submit various country-specific documents to reach these markets since these nations adhere to a country-specific document format. Both Ukraine and Kazakhstan have enacted stringent regulations and are awaiting United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) – level document certification. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is regarded as a “growing industry both in terms of trade agreements and drug...

Currently, COVID-19 pandemic is a major zoonotic disease that has killed millions of people all over the world. Similarly, Nipah virus (NiV), causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) along with febrile encephalitis. NiV belongs to the class of paramyxovirus of the genus Henipavirus is a deadly virus that has caused several outbreaks in recent years. Despite the fact that NiV causes a small number of infections, the severity of the disease results in a higher death rate unlike COVID-19 infection. Many research studies termed bats as a natural host for NiV. Recently two NiV strains were identified i.e. NiV-MY (Malaysian strain) and NiV-BD (Bangladesh strain), is the major cause of epidemic in various geographical areas. Various techniques like ELISA, immunohistochemistry and polymerase chain based reaction have been developed for diagnostic purposes. Currently, there is no approved treatment or vaccine available for either people or animals, and treatment is limited to supportive care. In context with current COVID-19 pandemic, health infrastructure in many countries will be incompetent to manage such...

Antimicrobial proteins and peptides are also known as Host defense system. Recently, research in the food industry and therapeutic fields has seen a considerable expansion in the use of antimicrobial proteins. It has a wide spectrum of antibacterial and immunomodulatory properties against infectious bacteria, viruses, fungus, etc., obtained from microbes, plants, animals, and even humans. Antimicrobial peptides can potentially improve the specificity and efficacy of antibiotics by being a promising alternative because microorganisms can’t metabolize them. Regulation, post-transduction modification, ribosome synthesis, etc. are the essential components of the AMP (Antimicrobial protein and peptide) biosynthesis process. Today, AMPs can be developed synthetically based on their activity, source, structure, and species of amino acids. They have the unique ability to rupture the cell wall, which results in cell death. As a novel approach, scientists have determined a few strategies to administer AMPs by formulating with chitosan nanoparticles, gold and silver nanoparticles, and peptide-assembly by producing microgels, mesoporous materials, and other substances that can be applied in the fields of skin disease,...
