Since 2019-November on world facing whole world is facing an unprecedented health problem. The WHO has said that a pandemic infection are coming with a new virus species of coronavirus is called SARS-CoV-2. Coronavirus 2019 is associated with global health and acute coronary respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2. COVID-19 is widely spread through drip channels. The virus causes mild symptoms in many who have manifested many symptoms, dry cough, fatigue, muscle aches and bruises; Common symptoms include diarrhea, colds, hemoptysis, sore throat and runny nose. Severe infections, which are the main treatment options for critical care patients, include severe lung burns, sepsis, ARDS and septicemia. Here we present nine key research questions related to virus infection, releasing anonymous, treatment, pre-symptomatic viruses, diagnosis, vaccine growth, origins of the virus and also viral infections, etiology, viral infections, clinical picture, treatment and infection. Effective treatment is not yet available. Every day there is an increase in morbidity and mortality, and adherence to the instructions of infection prevention and infection should control government organizations are...

Ganoderma lucidum total triterpenes were evaluated for anti-inflammatory activity using carrageenan-induced acute and formalin-induced chronic paw oedema models in Swiss albino mice. The total triterpenes, at concentrations 10, 50, and 100 mg/kg b. wt. administered orally, showed 36.96%, 54.35%, 76.09% inhibition of acute and 41.86%, 62.79% and 79.07% inhibition of chronic inflammation. Total triterpenes were also assessed for its effect in attenuating the inflammation and modulating the antioxidant status of Freund’s complete adjuvant (FCA) induced arthritis rats. Total triterpenes when administrated orally, at concentrations 10, 50, and 100mg/kg b. wt., showed 58.73%, 73.02%, and 79.37% inhibition of paw oedema in the arthritis rats. Treatment with total triterpenes enhanced the activities of the antioxidant enzymes (SOD, GPx, and catalase) and restored the level of GSH in arthritic animals. Total triterpene treatment also attenuated the enhanced lipid peroxide levels in FCA-induced rats. All these findings support the strong therapeutic potential of Ganoderma total triterpenes against inflammation...

Apremilast, the new PDE4 inhibitor drug, exhibits low solubility and low permeability; therefore, shows variable bioavailability. Effervescent floating tablets of apremilast were developed to sustain the drug release rate by increasing gastric retention time. These tablets were prepared by wet granulation technique, using different polymers like carbopol 934P, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose K4M, tragacanth and sodium alginate, either alone or in combination. Prepared tablets were characterized for physical parameters like floating capacity, hardness, % weight variation, friability, and content uniformity. Additionally, tablets were evaluated for in vitro release characteristics for 24 h. Results of this study exhibited good physical properties within the limit of acceptance. Batches prepared by carbo-pol 934P did not show any initial burst release as compared to other polymers. When polymer concentrations were increased drug release rate was decreased. Drug release from the tablets was followed by zero-order controlled release. Sodium alginate/ tragacanth and HPMC K4 in 1:3 ratio exhibited best drug release for 24 h. Carbopol batches (1:3 ratio ) showed very first floating lag time (52...

In the present study, we evaluated the Anti-parkinson’s activity of Cyamopsis tetragonoloba methanol plant pod extract by Haloperidol Induced Catalepsy and Tacrine induced vacuous jaw movements for behavioral parameters and in-vivo assays to estimate neurochemical parameters like (GSH, LPO, and SOD). The behavioral analysis performed using Haloperidol Induced Catalepsy produces Parkinson’s disease (PD) like symptoms, has been shown to reduce the catalepsy significantly (P<0.001) with Cyamopsis tetragonoloba methanol plant pod extract (200 and 400 mg/kg) doses. Tacrine-induced jaw movements and bursts symptoms closely resembling the PD symptoms shown to reduce treatment with plant extract and helped to manage the uncontrolled movements. The biochemical parameters like Lipid peroxidation (LPO), Glutathione (GSH), and Superoxide dismutase (SOD) were assessed using control, standard, and 200 and 400 mg/kg Cyamopsis tetragonoloba extract, results revealed that rats treated with plant extracts had increased levels of GSH and SOD which was found to be lower in the patients of PD and further plant extract analysis found efficient in reducing the LPO activity which helps to decrease...

Covid-19 pandemic has enforced the entire scientific community to work together and find a solution for the adversity the whole world is facing. This has called for immediate actions, and the most common point of discussion and rapid way to tackle this is to repurpose the previously approved molecules and check their activity against this virus. The role of computational techniques has paved the way for rapid screening of molecules so as to provide us an insight on to designing drugs to inhibit this virus. Our group has screened the Dug bank database containing 8696 molecules. These molecules were screened using three tired molecular docking protocol. We utilized 5R82 as our target structure for the main protease enzyme of SARS-CoV-2, as it was the best available structure in Protein Data Bank. After screening the database, we obtained 200 molecules having docking scores better than the standard molecules (Ritonavir and Lopinavir). Eventually, after detailed analysis, we selected three molecules DB02307, DB04226, and DB01713, for Molecular dynamics simulation study and also...
