The non-invasive technique in which a variety of nanoparticles are used to deliver the chemotherapy drug to the location of metastatic cancer has fewer side effects, high bio-availability, and high bio-stability of a drug. The anti-proliferative activity of EGCG is very efficient against a variety of cancer, but the problem is that it can’t withstand the environment of an intestine. One of the nano-system is Spanlastic (type of niosome system) which can carry both lipophilic and hydrophilic drugs. Spanlastic is capable of holding a large amount of drugs; also, the penetration potential of spanlastic is very efficient due to the addition of cholesterol and ethanol in it. Non-ionic surfactant made up of Span-60 (mono-stearate), and the edge activator made of Tween-80 increases the flexibility and deformability of the system. Ethanol injection will be used to prepare the EGCG loaded spanlastic system. After preparing, the Z-average diameter, polydispersity index, and spanlastic will be determined by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and, with the help TEM imaging, will check the shape and...
Read MoreQuinoline or 1-aza-naphthalene or benzo [b] pyridine is a weak tertiary base. In the study, the synthesis of compounds and their antimicrobial activity which is not done earlier and is quite significant. An attempt has been made for the synthesis of N’-(substituted benzylidene)-2-(7-bromo-2-phenylquinazolin-4-yloxy) acetohydrazide (5-15). The titled compounds were prepared by the reaction of bromoanthranilic acid with benzoyl chloride which gave oxazine-4-one derivative (1), which on reaction with formamide gave quinazolin-4(3H)-one derivative (2). The esterification product of quinazolin-4(3H)-one derivative, when reacted with hydrazine-hydrate gave (7-bromo-2-phenylquinazolin-4yloxy) acetohydrazide (4). The sub stituted benzaldehyde on reaction with 7-Bromo-2-phenylquinazoline-4yloxyacetohydrazide (4) yielded N’-(sub stituted benzylidene)-2-(7-bromo-2-phenyl quinazolin-4-yloxy) acetohydrazide (5-15). Primarily the structures of all synthesized compounds were confirmed from Melting point and TLC methods and then spectral analysis IR, 1H NMR and mass spectra. All synthesized derivative compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activities using the disc diffusion technique. It was found that all the synthesized compounds exhibit antimicrobial activity and that compounds 7, 11, 13 and 14 have a broad spectrum of...

Beta cells are a type of cell found in the pancreatic islet and also synthesize, secrete insulin and amylin. Sitagliptin is found to be maintaining the beta-cells function and glycemic control in T2DM patients. Randomly diabetes mellitus type-2 (T2DM) patients’ data is collected (110 patients) for statistical analysis. For this study, T2DM patients enrolled with the age of 30-60 years, treated with Sitagliptin and Glimepiride once a day. The baseline of HbA1c >7.0% to <10.5%; thus, the performed student t-test is to find out the significant role. The 110 patients are distributed into two groups: one Sitagliptin user group (n=62) and the second Glimepiride user group (n=43). The sitagliptin treatments may also protect also beta cells as the pancreas may not able to regenerate...
Read MoreBerries, fruits, and flaxseed have nowadays have increased in research studies. The berries such as Rubus idaeus (Red raspberry), Vaccinium macrocarpon (cranberry), Vaccinium angustifolium (blueberry) and Fragaria x ananassa Duch. (strawberry) have health beneficial compounds like anthocyanins, ellagitannins, ellagic acids, polyphenolic compounds and whereas in flaxseed the polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), α-linolenic acid, omega-3 fatty acids have a potential effect on health. This study aims to evaluate for standardization of polyherbal extract obtained from berries and flaxseed by qualitative phytochemical analysis, physicochemical analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, UV analysis, thin layer chromatography. The maceration method is used for performing the extraction and plant-based edible polymer Acrypol 934 P for the preparation of the polyherbal ethyl acetate extract and its gel-based formulation. Different phytochemical tests and physicochemical evaluation procedures were followed for standardization of extract and afterwards gel formulation. The results confirmed the presence of various phytochemicals including flavonoids (rich in content in each), tannins, saponins, cardiac glycosides, phenolics. Different physicochemical studies including viscosity are some extent change due to...
