Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is the main reason for end-stage renal disease on a global scale. About 40% of developing diabetic kidney disease, which is the most common cause of chronic kidney diseases worldwide. Although ESRD may be the most complication of diabetics, as a result of their physical health and any co-morbidities they may have, such as obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, intrarenal vascular disease, renal ischemia, or age-related nephron loss, One-third of people with type 1 diabetes and at least half of people with type 2 diabetes will eventually develop renal dysfunction. CKD is present and is severe. Glomerular hyperfiltration, falling GFR, and finally, ESRD are parts of the diabetic kidney disease natural history. Diabetes-related complications can lead to diabetic kidney disease. Disturbances in glucose metabolism, hypertension, dyslipidemia, develop kidney disease. Controlling blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blockage are all part of intensive therapy for diabetic patients; For diabetic kidney damage to be postponed or prevented, glycemic management is crucial. Several glucose-lowering drugs are on the...

Since ancient times, natural products, especially plants have been utilized to treat variety of disorders, and an astounding number of contemporary medications have been created from them. All across the world, liver problems are prevalent. These conditions are only mildly handled traditionally; however, allopathic treatment always makes the situation worse when used to address more severe conditions. The current review offers summaries of plants (44 species from various families) with hepatoprotective qualities that may be discovered in literature sources from various databases and are properly categorized based on the parts utilized. Through the use of experimental animal models, all the plants were examined scientifically for their ability to protect the liver by testing certain parameters, such as liver indicators (AST, ALT, ALP, total protein content, albumin, and bilirubin), as well as through histological analysis, the hepatoprotective action was scientifically demonstrated. From the review, phytoconstituents such flavonoids, glycosides, terpenoids, and alkaloids are primarily responsible for medicinal plants’ hepatoprotective properties. It will be useful for the researchers to discover a field...

Objective: Teratogens play a crucial role in the 4-5% of infants who are born with physical or functional abnormalities in this world. Teratogens are recognized for their capacity to harm fetuses or neonates. Observations: Pregnancy-related exposure to certain substances may result in birth abnormalities or malformations of the fetus, such as behavioral or emotional problems, low IQ, physical deformities, etc. Because teratogens are more likely to cause harm between 15 to 60 days during organogenesis, major abnormalities are more prevalent in early embryos than in newborns. There are many different kinds of medications, and some of those that are often used during pregnancy can have teratogenic effects during various trimesters. Pregnancy is often separated into three trimesters. According to several studies, 70% of pregnant women consume at least two or three medications, including prescription pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter medicines, throughout pregnancy or the first trimester of organogenesis. Conclusion: The current study focuses on how pregnancy and physiology during that time influences the pharmacokinetics of drugs that may reach and harm...

Guillain-Barre syndrome occurs when the body’s immune system targets a portion of the peripheral nervous system. In addition to the nerves that convey pain, temperature, and touch sensations, the condition can also impair the nerves that regulate muscular movement. This may lead to muscular weakness and/or loss of feeling in the arms and/or legs. A 12-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with chief complaints of Weakness in bilateral upper and lower limbs, trouble in swallowing, inability to hold neck, mouth frothing, fever spikes. On physical examination, the patient has experienced weakness in bilateral upper and lower limbs, bulbar weakness is present, pain experiencing in both legs, S1 and S2 sound are present, Air entry is bilaterally equal, pupils are reflected to light, tone and power of upper and lower limbs are decreased”, then treatment was initially started with immunoglobulin therapy, intravenous fluids, antibiotics, amino glycosides, glucocorticoids, anti-allergic as per physician orders. In this study, we primarily focus on professional management and summarize the clinical aspects of GBS, its...

Ziziphus nummularia is commonly found plant in dry regions of South Asia such as India, Pakistan. Z. nummularia contains numerous phytochemicals such as flavonouds, alkaloids that are responsible for numerous biological activities. In current study, elaborative pharmacognostic studies on the leaves of Z. nummularia were done for standardization purposes for future studies. The study includes morphology, microscopy, physicochemical properties, phytochemical studies and fluoroscence analysis. Besides, pesticides residue, heavy metal residue, aflatoxins and microorganism analysis were also carried out for the standardization. Further in-vitro anti-inflammatory activity of successive extracts viz. petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, ethanol and aqueous extracts was assessed using protein denaturation, RBC membrane satbilisation and protease method at varying concentration i.e. 250, 500, 750, 1000 and 2000 µg/ml. The antioxidant activities of the extracts were also done using DPPH, nitric oxide and hydrogen peroxide assay. The phytochemical studies revealed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides and tannin. The results indicate that ethanolic extract has the highest percentage anti-inflammatory activity (78%) when compared to other extracts with an...
