Non-adherence to treatment can negatively affect the result for the patient and the prescriber. On the other hand, high adherence reduces health care cost and improves the quality of life in patients suffering from chronic diseases. This prospective study was carried out on outdoor patients of ischemic heart disease after discharge from the indoor patient department. The modified Morisky Scale is used to assess the patient’s medication adherence. The Chi-square Test assessed the significance of the difference in data. After enrollment, 370 out of 400 patients came to the hospital for follow-up (non-interventional group=295 patients and interventional group=75 patients). 89.83% of patients in the non-interventional group while 94.67%patientsin the interventional group had high adherence in the motivation scale. This difference was found statistically significant (p<0.05). Similar data were found in the knowledge scale. But overall, 90.81% of patients in motivation and knowledge scales had high adherence. Patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) frequently experience disturbed sleep, which could have negative effects. How exactly environmental factors contribute to sleep disruption in the intensive care unit is unknown. The Richard-Campbell Sleep Questionnaire was used to assess their sleep, and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale was used to assess their depression. 500 patients in total took part in this study. Factors like pain, discomfort, light, medication administration, panic, current sickness, noise, and the ventilator can awake patients in an intensive care unit. Sleep impairment is directly related to co-morbidity. We evaluated the ICU patients’ sleep quality and divided them into groups based on how long they had been there. We specifically selected those who stayed longer than 6 days to compare their sleep quality before and after removing elements that interfere with restful sleep. Background: Environmental factors and genetics significantly impact the development of the chronic, inflammatory, debilitating, and proliferative skin disorder known as psoriasis. Erythematous plaques with distinct borders and silvery scales are signs of psoriasis. Objectives: This study aimed to study the pattern of drug use in psoriasis and to assess patient compliance. Materials & Methods: 96 patients were selected after they met the inclusion criteria. Microsoft Word and Excel were used to create graphs and tables, and statistical software called SPSS version 21 was used to analyze the data. Results: In most psoriasis patients, topical therapy helped cause and maintain the remission of lesions. Plaque psoriasis was the most common psoriasis. ZnO is used as a nanofiller in various concentrations to create flexible self-standing films of PVP-PVA mix composites. This work presents the results of structural, compositional, morphological, and optical analyses carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis). The XRD data show that ZnO nanoparticles are produced in the polymeric matrix with hexagonal phase. ZnO nanofiller is dispersed throughout the polymer matrix, as seen in SEM pictures.
