The unusual physio and chemical properties of gold nanoparticles are found to have more advantage in the field of medicine, diagnostics and biosensors. In the present document, it is reported that Justicia gendarussa leaf extract mediated synthesis of gold nanoparticles by the reduction of gold ions. Three different phytochemical fractions were prepared from methanolic leaf extract by liquid-liquid extraction method using immiscible solvents. The total polyphenols, flavonoids and electron donating capacity (DPPH assay) of each phytochemical fraction was analyzed. The 1mg/ml of diethyl ether phytochemical fraction produced more gold nanoparticles within 15 minutes when exposed to 10ml of 0.5mM chloroauric acid compared to chloroform and ethyl acetate phytochemical fractions. The structural characteristics of diethyl ether phytochemical fraction synthesized gold nanoparticles were characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy, Dynamic light scattering, Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopies. Preliminary Phytochemical investigation was carried out on the methanolic extract of Syzygium cumini Linn. Bark. It indices presence of Carbohydrates, Amino acids, Tannins, Saponins, phytosterols, Terpenoids, phenols and flavonoids. We are also quantitatively estimated total phenolic content, tannins and favaniods by using spectrophotometer. The total phenolic content was 580.23 ± 3.03 mg/g, tannin content was 534 ± 4.03 mg/ g while the flavonoid content was 315.42 ± 4.52 mg/g. The present research work has been carried out for an optimized formulation of co-processed directly compressible vehicles in the preparation of the Acetaminophen mouth fast dissolving tablets (MFDTs). Acetaminophen was chosen due to its poor compression properties. Di-calcium Phosphate(DCP) was incorporated in the neutralized aqueous starch dispersion to prepare co-processed excipient.
