The purpose of the present study was to optimize palbociclib-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) by evaluating the relationship between design factors and experimental data. A three-factor, three-level Box-Behnken design (BBD) was used for the optimization procedure, choosing the amount of tricapric, cremophor RH40 and soy lecithin, as independent variables. The chosen dependent variables were particle size, entrapment efficiency, and % cumulative drug released. The generated polynomial equations and response surface plots were used to relate the dependent and independent variables. The optimal nanoparticles were formulated with 08%tricapric, 09% cremophor RH40, and 6% soy lecithin. Three formulations were prepared according to these levels and found that the observed responses were close to the predicted values of the optimized formulation. Ocular deliveries possess a challenging pharmaceutical approach due to poor absorption index through the corneal appendages and washing away of the drug through tears and lachrymal secretion. The ocular appendages lead to provide lesser bioavailability of conventional dosage forms; hence, frequent dosing is advised to get the optimum effect of the medicine. Therefore, in-situ gel offers a promising solution to provide a promising approach to achieve greater residence time and bioavailability of natamycin for ocular fungal infections. In the present study, the in-situ gel was prepared using Carbopol and HPMC, which upon introduction to the ocular cavity, were converted to gel. Moringa oleifera leaf is widely used in the traditional medicine system and also used as a food by different communities and local tribes of Assam in India. Moringa oleifera leaf contains various bioactive compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, rutin, steroids, etc. The flavonoids quercetin act as an anti-ulcer agent, and rutin have a gastro cytoprotective effect i.e., present in M. oleifera leaf. The main aims of the current study were to isolate and characterize the active compounds using column chromatography and spectroscopy, respectively, and evaluate the anti-ulcer activity of Moringa oleifera leaf extract. The FTIR analysis of isolated compounds indicated the presence of functional groups OH, C=C, C-Cl, C-Br. Millets are called nutri-cereals, highly nutritious, and are known to have high nutrient content, which includes protein, essential fatty acids, dietary fiber, B-Vitamins, minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, and magnesium. The present study was carried out to develop millet-based fryums and to assess their acceptability and functional properties. Introduction: Anabaena azollae (AM) is used as a biofertilizer feed for cattle; much research is developing toward identifying the elements and their role in food supplements for human consumption. Objective: The study was to characterize the whole plant powder of the A. microphylla concerning physicochemical and elemental analysis. Material and Methods: The whole plant powder was subjected to physicochemical analysis such as total ash content, acid insoluble ash content, and moisture content by standard procedure. Further, it was analyzed for elements through SEM and XRD studies. Results: The results revealed that the total ash content, acid insoluble ash content and moisture content were within limits. The morphological feature of the A. microphylla whole plant powder showed a compact structure.
