Parasitic worms live in and feed in living hosts. They receive nourishment and protection while disrupting their hosts ability to absorb nutrients. The macroparasites called helminths, causes Helminthiasis. In India, the overall prevalence rates range from 12.5% to 66%. About 50% of the urban population and 68% of the rural population in India is affected. According to WHO, just few medications are consistently utilized for the treatment of these parasite diseases, these include albendazole, mebendazole, piperazine thiabendazole and levamisole. The resistance of helminths to drugs poses health complications to both man and animals which increased the demand for the use of herbal drugs. The present study was carried out to evaluate anthelmintic activity of leaves of Trachyspermum ammi and Desmodium gangeticum. Earthworms (Eisenia fetida) were chosen for studying anthelmintic activity as they have resemblance to intestinal round worms. The biological effects of transition metal complexes that include a wide range of ligands are distinguishable from one another. In an effort to produce a novel metal (II) complexes the conventional reflux method has been used to the interaction of two ligands, N-(2H-benzo[d] [1,2,3] triazol-2-yl)-1-(4-nitrophenyl) ethanimine as L1 and an amino acid Alanine as L2 with freshly produced Zinc, Nickel, Manganese chloride’s solution in a 1:1:1 molar ratio. In order to characterize the ligand and metal (II) complexes that have been synthesized, several approaches such as elemental analysis, molecular weight analysis, thermal analysis and spectroscopic analysis are used. A comparison was made between the antibacterial activity of all of the compounds that were created and that of Streptomycin, Ciprofloxacin and Nystatin. Coagulase negative Staphylococcus, always regarded as nonpathogenic common commensal of skin and mucous membrane, are emerging as ubiquitous endemic nosocomial and oppurtunistic pathogens in recent times. They usually are considered as culture contaminants, thus left untreated which lead to their increased pathogenic potential. Methicillin resistance in Coagulase negative Staphylococcus is of significant concern as these strains are also multi drug resistant. The purpose of this study was to estimate the frequency of Methicillin resistance in CoNS in clinical samples and determine their biofilm producing ability and in-vitro antimicrobial susceptibility. A total of 2240 various clinical samples like urine, pus, blood, swabs received during one year period from January to December 2023 were processed in clinical laboratory, Department of Microbiology, Andhra Medical College, King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam. The current study reports to validate a stability indicating RP-HPLC method for estimation of mitapivat in bulk, pharmaceutical formulations and FD characterization by using MS method. The chromatographic separation was accomplished on Waters X-Bridge phenyl column (150× 4.6mm, 3.5µm). With the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.1% OPA (80ː20v/v) at a flow rate of 1ml/min. The eluents were monitored by UV detector at 234nm. The Purpose of research was to study process validation for Dapagliflozin 10 mg, Sitagliptin 100 mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (Extended Release) Bilayered Tablets. The critical process parameters were identified with the help of process capability and evaluated by challenging its lower & upper release specifications. Three initial process validation batches (I, II, III) of the same size, method, equipment & validation criteria were taken. The critical parameters involved in sifting, dry mixing, preparation, preparation of granulating agent, wet mixing, wet milling, drying, sizing, lubrication, compression stage, coating & finished stage were identified and evaluated as per validation master plan.
