The global pharmaceutical sector is in vital need of both Innovative technology for solutions and basic science, allowing the production of highly engineered drug products. Commercial-level manufacturing of Complex drug delivery systems utilizing current technologies is challenging. Work within the pharmaceutical trade has been restricted for an extended time to the analysis and development of the latest active compounds; in the meantime, the structure of the assembly, dominated by batch-wise technologies, has not been modified until now. This review covers vital components of producing sciences, starting with risk management ways and design of experiments (DoE) techniques. Experimental techniques ought to, wherever attainable, be supported by process approaches. Thereupon regard, state-of-art mechanistic method modeling techniques square measure represented intimately. Implementing materials science tools paves the thanks for the molecular-based process of future Drug delivery systems. A pic of a number of the prevailing tools is bestowed. This review addresses fundamental tools for increased process understanding and perspective on future process...

Passiflora foetida, commonly known as stinking passion flower has been used as traditional medicine in treating diseases such as throat infection, giddiness, liver disorder, diarrhea, tumor, nervous disorder, anxiety; sleep disorders, skin infections, hysteria and asthma. In addition, P. foetida has been reported to have potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiepileptic, anti hyperglycemic, cardio protective, anti-diarrheal, and anti-cancer properties. Metabolites isolated from this plant are mainly flavonoids, polysaccharides, α-pyrones and cyanohydrins. The compounds have been isolated from the leaves, stems, seeds, resins and fruits. The stems of P. foetida have high cellulose content. The leaves and fruits of Passiflora foetida have high nutritional value that they find use as herbal tea, tablets and nutritional powders. Vitexin was quantified by a high-performance thin-layer chromatographic technique. These compounds tend to have diverse biological properties. This review article highlights the secondary metabolites, quantification of phytochemicals, proximate parameters, chemical constituents their activities and...

Medicinal plants contain phytocompounds which are of medicinal value. Scientific evaluation of these compounds that may serve as potential drugs is important in validating the medicinal plants. The leaf extract of the medicinal plant, Isodon ternifolius (D. Don) Kudo was prepared by the maceration method using 80% aqueous methanol as the extraction solvent. The resulting extract was subjected to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. The mass spectra of all the major phytocompounds obtained were compared with the standard mass spectra found in the NIST and Wiley libraries, and the phytocompounds were identified. All these identified phytocompounds were characterized biocomputationally with respect to their pharmacologically relevant physicochemical properties, viz. molecular weight, number of heavy atoms, number of heavy aromatic atoms, fraction Csp3, rotatable bond, hydrogen bond acceptor, hydrogen bond donor, molar refractivity and topological polar surface area. Further, drug-likeness, bioavailability, and ADMET properties of each of the phytocompounds were also characterised. The results obtained may be useful in further in-vitro and in-vivo experimentation that might lead to the discovery of drugs...

A category of illnesses known as neurodevelopmental disorders is predominantly linked to neurodevelopmental dysfunctions. The two most prevalent neurodevelopmental disorders, “Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD)” as well as“Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)”, affect both humans and lower-class species like rats, mice and zebra fish. The purpose of this review is to identify the behavioral changes brought on by certain Neurodevelopmental disorders-Risk genes, such as CHD8, SHANK3, LPHN3, SLC6A3, etc., and to summarize their genetic screening and epidemiological researches, which directed various neurodevelopmental disorders in various organisms brought on by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors, as well as their genetic screening, which can be used to identify those diseases in humans by this orthologous gene that are present in humans. The majority of genes linked to neurodevelopment disorders were shown to have an excess of de novo mutations (DNMs), but case-control mutation burden research has not been able to prove their importance. We could identify the behavioral anomalies caused by these genes in different species for the development of neuropsychotic...

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are related to heart and blood vessel disorders. The changing lifestyles of unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, and tobacco and alcohol consumption have increased the risk factors of heart diseases. A literature search reveals that the rise in risk of CVD’s is higher after a SARS-COV2 infection. Also, CVDs independently are one of the leading cause of death globally. There is hence a need of research of new molecules with improved therapeutics. Herbal medications have been utilized to treat cardiovascular diseases for many years around the world. The advancement of herbal nanotechnology in the field of CVDs has been shown to have astounding benefits over herbal crude drug formulations or herbal extracts, including better solubility, bioavailability, toxicity protection, pharmacological activity augmentation, dose reduction, and stability. This paper discusses the traditional herbal drugs and the herbal formulations, specifically herbal nanoparticles (NPs), for the treatment of CVDs and their...
