Objectives: To investigate and compare the analgesic effect of fluoxetine (FLU), duloxetine (DUL) and venlafaxine (VEN) in animal models of chronic pain. Methods: Chronic pain was induced in albino rats using spared nerve injury and vincristine. Rats were divided into Control group/ Normal Saline (NS5), DUL group, FLU group, and VEN group. In spared nerve injury, sural branch of sciatic nerve was kept intact while another two branches, common peroneal and tibial nerve ligated and cut. In the vincristine-induced neuropathic pain model, vincristine was administered along with test drugs for 5 days and then 2 days gap and then for 5 days. Mechanical allodynia and hyperalgesia developed in animals were indicative of pain. Pain assessment was done by using von frey filaments by measuring paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) on day 7 in spared nerve injury and on 7 and 14 days of vincristine administration. Molecular Docking is an effective and competent tool for in-silico screening. It is playing an important and ever-increasing role in rational drug design. The main application lies in this structure-based virtual screening is the identification of new active compounds towards a particular target protein. In present investigation, few N1-chloroacetyl-7-substituted- 4-methyl-1, 5-benzodiazepine-2-one and 7-Substituted-4-methyl-1,5-benzodiazepin-2-one are designed and docked at active site of cavity 1# of GABA-A receptor-associated protein (1KJT) to identify their hypothetical binding mode. As a target protein, we used the X-ray crystal structure of mammalian GABA-A receptor-associated protein from the Protein Data Bank. The Molecular Design Suite was used in this study to conduct docking investigations and conformational analyses. The comparative docking experiments of designed compounds with known GABA agonist, Clobazam was carried out. The dock scores calculated for Clobazam was -5.2598. Worldwide antimicrobial resistance is a serious problem and differs from region to region. This study has designed the determination of the incidence and sensitivity pattern of Escherichia coli (E. coli) and discusses the general issues related to antimicrobial resistance. Prospective study was carried out between JAN to April 2020. Samples of urine, blood, pus and miscellaneous (fluids, swabs and sputum) were collected from indoor patients. The present antimicrobial susceptibility of E. coli, the study was performed in the Department of Microbiology Narayana Super-specialty Gurugram, Total of 315 samples were tested out, 97 samples showed growth on culture and out of 97 samples, 40 E. coli have isolated and tested antibiotics sensitivity, it has been demonstrated that different samples showing a significant amount of antimicrobials Sensitivity and resistance to different antibiotics (Table 2). Background: Syzygium cumini (SC) usually acknowledged as Jamun. Objectives: Present investigational on the anti-diabetic activity of the methanolic extract seeds of SC in STZ-induced Type I Diabetes in rats. Methods: Extracted SC was to be evaluated the toxicity as OECD 425 guidelines, and biochemical, hematological then gross pathological evaluation has been assessed. Iron deficiency anaemia afflicts a large proportion of the human population, compromising productivity and quality of life. Iron supplements are widely prescribed for treating anaemia. However, poor compliance due to side effects, particularly gastrointestinal side effects, remain a hurdle in alleviating the problem, leading to unabated high prevalence. Thus, a fresh look at novel approaches to supplementation is essential. Iron toxicity is attributed to the Fenton Reaction and generation of reactive oxygen species leading to oxidative stress.
