Sterility is the complete absence of any viable microorganism in a drug product. The Specification of sterility is unchanging and is independent of the kind of manufacturing Process. Sterilisation of the final product in its container closure system or aseptic manufacturing is followed. Under Terminal sterilisation usually it involves filling and sealing product containers under high quality Environmental conditions. Products are filled and sealed in this type of environment, so as to minimise the microbiological content of the in-process product and also to help ensure that the Subsequent sterilisation process is successful. The main complicating factors are the temperature and humidity of the cleanroom and the variations between people. The length of time will also depend upon the grade of the cleanroom. Critical Consumables are designed to provide protection for the head, body, hands and feet. In the process of establishing a system for garment selection, it is important to consider the broader aspects of cleanroom use. The main purpose of this study is to check the level of...

Dorema ammoniacum gum (DAG) has been used for different illnesses in Iranian traditional medicine. The main objective of the present study was to evaluate the analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of aqueous solution of Dorema ammoniacum gum (DAG) in animal model. The anti-inflammatory and analgesic Effects of DAG were examined using carraginane-induced edema test, formalin test and acetic acid-induced writhing response. 42 male albino mice randomly assigned in different groups were pretreated randomly assigned 5 groups. Groups were pretreated either with normal saline, morphine or aspirin and different doses of DAG (125, 250, 500 mg/kg, i.p.) for determination of analgesic effect. The anti-inflammatory effect was evaluated by the rat paw carrageenan induced edema and was compared to positive controls. DAG exhibited the analgesic effect in chronic phase of formalin test in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05). Also, application of different doses of DAG had significant analgesic effect in acetic acid writing test 30 min after its injection. DAG showed anti-inflammatory effect in a dose dependent manner. The anti-inflammatory effect of the...

The roots of Landolphia heudelotti are employed in traditional medicine for the treatment of a plethora of ailments. In this study, the antioxidant activity and bioactive constituents of the methanol root extract were investigated. Fourteen known compounds including a lignan, neolignans, sesquilignans, a coumarin and an aromadendrane sesquiterpene were isolated from the root extract. The structure elucidation of compounds was performed based on mass spectral and NMR spectroscopic data and by comparison with literature. The crude extract had a high total antioxidant Capacity of 108.8 ± 14.52 mg/g of dried extract (ascorbic acid equivalent) and also demonstrated significant DPPH free radical scavenging activity (IC50 = 6.956 ± 0.8121 µg/mL). The extract also had a total phenolic content of 98.14 ± 14.70 mg/g of dried extract (tannic acid equivalent). The results of this study have given scientific credence to the use of L. heudelotti roots in traditional medicine. This is the first report of these phyto-constituents from L....

The 2-aminobenzothiazole moiety and its derivatives have immense importance in medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry as a potent biologically active molecules. The synthesis of 2-aminobenzothiazole derivatives carried out from substituted phenyl thiourea which is synthesized by substituted aniline in ionic liquid (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium) bisulphate ([BMIM] + [HSO4]–), (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium) tetrafluoroborate ([BMIM] + [BF4]–) and (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium) hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM] + [PF6]–). Further N-alkylation at amino group of synthesized 2-aminobenzothiazoles was carried out with alcohol using conc. H2SO4 and Schiff bases are also prepared by reaction of substituted 2-aminobenzothiazoles and aromatic aldehydes. ILs are green alternate of volatile organic solvents and they are beneficiary environmentally and economically. The reactivity, reaction rate and yield were enhanced by using ILs and the products were recovered by simple filtration. 2-N-alkylaminobenzothiazoles and Schiff base derivatives are very important structural units in many medicinal compounds. The synthesized compounds can show many biological activities like antitumor, antimicrobial and anti analgesic. The characterization of synthesized compounds was done by elemental and spectral...

Improper diet can affects the brain and can increase the risk for mental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases like autism. Dietary modification can sometime be helpful to children with autism. The present study examined the effects of a high lipid diet on orally administered ampicillin -induced neurotoxic rats and compared with propionic acid models of autism. Forty young male western albino rats were divided into four equal groups. The first group served as the control; the second group was given an oral neurotoxic dose of propionic (PA) (250 mg/kg body weight/day) for three days. The third group received an orogastric dose of ampicillin (50mg/kg for three weeks) with a standard diet. Groups 4 was given an orogastric dose of ampicillin and fed with high-lipid diets, for 10 weeks. The possible effects of ampicillin (Amp) in presence of high lipid diet on selected neurotransmitters (5HT, DA, NA, glutamate and glutamine) and a cytokine IL-6 were tested and compared with the neurotoxic effect of propionic acid (PA). The results show a significant...
