A novel, simple, and accurate, high-performance liquid chromatographic method has been a developed with quantitative analysis of Glasdegib using Waters X-Bridge C18 150 × 4.6mm, 3.5µ column with a flow rate of 1ml/min. The buffer containing 0.1% OPA and the mixture of two components like Buffer and Acetonitrile in the ratio of 50: 50 is used as mobile phase. The detection was carried out at 250nm. The proposed method shows good linearity in the concentration range from 25µg/ml to 500µg/ml for Glasdegib. Precision and accuracy study results are in between 98-102%. In entire robustness conditions % RSD is below 2.0%. Degradation has minimum effect in stress conditions, and solutions are stable for 24hrs. Method validation is carried out according to ICH guidelines, and the parameters are precision, accuracy, specificity, stability, robustness, linearity; the limit of detection and limit of quantification are evaluated, and the values are found to be within the acceptable limit. The developed method gave good resolution between Glasdegib and its impurities with a short runtime, high...

Background: Zinc (Zn) is the most common trace element in eukaryote cells and the second most abundant trace element in human tissues and secretions after iron. Zinc is required for normal growth and development from in uteri to puberty. There is a lack of evidence on Zn as a potential therapeutic agent to reduce weight and improve metabolic parameters in obese adults. Aim: to evaluate Zn supplementation’s effects in early neonatal life on the development of obesity in adult life. Methods: Sixty male albino rats were used. The animals were divided into three equal groups 20 rats for each. ZnSO4 supplemented diet was given to rats mothers of group 2 from the first day of delivery, and it was given to rats immediately after weaning until the end of the study. After six weeks, all experimental rats were given a high carbohydrate, high-fat diet. All rats were monitored for body weight, food and water intakes, abdominal circumference; Systolic blood pressure, and Fasting blood sugar was measured in rats after...

There are several factors that may induce ulcers in human beings such as stress, chronic use of anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. Though in most cases, the etiology of ulcer is unknown, it has generally accepted that it is the result of an imbalance between aggressive factors and maintenance of the mucosal integrity through the endogenous defense mechanism. Thus, the search for a safe anti-ulcer drug that optimizes these properties is continuing, and part of the search is the evaluation of medicinal plants for gastroprotective properties. The Malvastrum tricuspidatum has used in folk medicine for the treatment of inflammation and gastrointestinal diseases. In this study, we assessed for anti-ulcer activities with aqueous extract and in-vitro method as the acid-neutralizing capacity and H+/K+ – ATPase inhibition activity method and. In acid-neutralizing capacity (ANC), the extract significantly reduced ANC to 9.33 at a concentration of 1500 mg as compared to 15.7 with standard Aluminium hydroxide + Magnesium hydroxide (500mg). While in H+ /K+ – ATPase inhibition activity, the extract showed maximum percentage inhibition...

The important barrier in transdermal drug delivery (TDD) is the Stratum corneum (SC), the outermost layer of the skin, which acts as an excellent protective physiological barrier. To boost the penetration or permeation of drugs through SC, several tactics have been used including passive and active methods of permeation or both in combination. This unwraps the opportunity to broaden the range of drugs that can be administered through the transdermal route, performed as alternatives to existing products, and overcomes the weaknesses of conventional routes. The Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLCs) seem to be excellent candidates over conventional drug delivery systems. NLCs are fastly growing and in increased demand from pharmaceutical research groups globally since the last decade. After development of liposomes and Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLN), NLCs were introduced. NLC overcomes the limitations of SLN, like the limited drug loading capacity and drug expulsion during storage. NLCs receive a preferred choice of formulation in the cosmeceutical market and Pharmaceutical market as well. This review is an overview of the different permeation...

DNA bar-coding is an ordered strategy that utilizes a little genetic marker in insect DNA to distinguish animal categories, as well as unidentified species. The present investigation manages the utilization of COI gene sequences in the distinguishing proof and documentation of edible insects in Nagaland. More than 2000 types of edible insects are recorded in more than 300 ethnic groups all around the world. It is evaluated that more than 200 types of species of edible insects and other invertebrates are consumed in North East India. In the preliminary study, Vespa affinis was selected and morphologically identified with the help of local tribals in Nagaland. Vespa affinis was identified by using phylogenetic tree analysis, and COI gene sequences were submitted in NCBI to received the accession number (MN820554), BOLD (ACH6486), and COI gene sequence were submitted in BOLD to generated DNA barcode for edible insects of Vespa...
