The present study evaluated the Anthelmintic activity of Ficus benghalensis bark extract against Indian earthworm Pheretima posthuma and compared it with the standard drug Albendazole. The results showed that the extract exhibited significant Anthelmintic activity, as evidenced by the time of paralysis and time of death of worms. The extract also contained various phytochemical constituents, including Phenolics, Terpenoids and Miscellaneous constituents. The findings of this study suggest that Ficus benghalensis bark extract may be a potential natural Anthelmintic agent. This activity was concentration dependent. As the concentration increases the extract produce maximal effect. Higher concentrations of ethanolic bark extract of Ficus benghalensis produce a paralytic effect much earlier and time taken for death was shorter. It shows maximum efficacy at 75 mg/ml concentration than the standard drug. Further studies are recommended to isolate and identify the active principles responsible for its activity. This could lead to the development of new drugs for the treatment of worm infections. The study provides valuable information on the medicinal properties of Ficus benghalensis...

The herbal drugs derived from plant sources are used in traditional pharmacopeia and also act as precursor in lab to synthesize medicines at large scale. Acanthaceae is a large family comprising of various medicinally valuable species. In traditional use, the leaves of this family are commonly recognized to alleviate the poisonous bites of reptiles and insects and whole plants for the treatment of external wounds and ulcers. The pharmacological effects evaluated from various species of this family are antibacterial, antifungal, antipyretic, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, antioxidant, anti-platelet aggression and insecticidal activities. The phytochemicals reported from this family are mainly flavonoids, alkaloids, lignans, benzonoids, fatty acids, terpenoids, tannins and a few triterpenoid saponins. In the present study two genera namely Blepharis and Lepidagathis of the family Acanthaceae were selected with the focus on their traditional use, chemical constituents, and pharmacological activities. Various pharmacological experiments have verified their practice in traditional use and species of both the genera emerged as good source of herbal medicines. However, uncharacterized crude extract was employed in...

Introduction: Urolithiasis is one of the most common urologic diseases worldwide, with an estimated prevalence ranging from 1% to 13% across the globe. It’s increasing prevalence can be attributed to the westernization of lifestyle habits. The homoeopathic system of medicine offers a positive scope in the management of urolithiasis with hyperuricemia, prevent to undergo in surgical interventions and also prevents recurrence. Case Summary: The presented case involved a patient experiencing continuous severe pain in the right renal region for the past ten days, along with elevated uric acid levels. Bryophyllum pinnatum mother tincture was prescribed based on the acute presentation, followed by Lycopodium clavatum considering the chronic totality. This treatment approach resulted in a significant improvement in the patient’s presenting complaints. Objectively, the treatment led to a gradual decrease in serum uric acid levels, elimination the kidney calculus as observed in ultrasonography and reduced propensity for recurrent renal calculus formation. Additionally, the liver’s echo texture remained normal throughout the treatment. The modified Naranjo Criteria score (MONARCH) post treatment was...

Biopharmaceutical technologies used to create biodegradable materials from biological agents fall within a broad spectrum. The production of bioproducts has grown cleaner and more dependable with the adoption of novel biotechnological approaches. The original study objective was to investigate the legal difficulties surrounding the purchase and sale of biological as well as pharmaceutical products. The production, advancement, and application of biosimilars in medical care are all governed by a legal regime. Guidelines are collections of requirements that producers must adhere to guarantee the efficacy and effectiveness of pharmaceuticals as well as the highest possible consumer security against newly produced goods. Control of biopharmaceuticals entails a comprehensive strategic plan to guarantee superior levels of security and performance. The research concentrates mainly on the trade in and out of drugs from Switzerland, Brazil, and India. International drug manufacturers are now given a stronger legal base on which to introduce novel drugs to the marketplace. This licensing process for new pharmaceuticals can take a year or longer because the healthcare regulatory structure...

Cerium oxide nanoparticles, also known as Nanoceria, have attracted a lot of attention due to their remarkable catalytic activities, which result from a rapid and efficient modification of the oxidized state between Ce4+ and Ce3+. The cerium atom may quickly and dramatically change its electrical arrangement to better suit its immediate surroundings. It also has oxygen vacancies, or flaws, in the lattice structure, which result from the loss of oxygen and/or its electrons during redox processes, alternating between CeO2 and CeO2 x. Being a mature engineered nanoparticle with a variety of industrial applications, it was recently discovered to have multi-enzyme, including reactive oxygen species oxidase, catalase, and oxidase, mimetic properties that produce a variety of biological effects, including being potentially anti – oxidants towards almost all toxic and harmful intracellular reactive oxygen species. In biological domains such as bioanalysis, biomedicine, drug carriers, and bioscaffolding, nanoceria has emerged as an intriguing and valuable material. This review paper gives a thorough overview to nanoceria nanoparticles and their manufacture, multi-enzyme-like activity, prospective...
