Objective: Present research work describes an eco-friendly and quick method for the development of silver nanoparticles (AgNP) using Momordica charantia Linn. extract and silver nitrate solution. Our investigation reports the antimicrobial activity of developed nanoparticles against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli. Method: Silver nanoparticle developed by reduction of silver nitrate solution by Momordica charantia Linn. extract. Extract of Momordica charantia Linn. acts as a reducing agent. Ulta Violet Visible spectroscopy used as a confirmatory test for the development of silver nanoparticles. Result: The silver nanoparticles synthesized were confirmed by their change of color to dark brown due to the phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance. The characterization studied was done by UV-visible spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transmission infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and study antibacterial activity. FTIR gives information about functional groups present in the synthesized silver nanoparticles. X-ray diffraction studies indicate that developed silver nanoparticles are highly crystalline in nature. SEM of synthesized AgNP shows that particles are spherical in shape and uniformly distributed. Synthesized AgNP shows...

The objective of the research was to investigate and evaluate anti diarrheal, antioxidant activity Mimusops elengi Linn. unripen fruit extracts. Mimusops elengi Linn. unripen fruits is considered as one of the best medicinal plants due to its several pharmacological uses mentioned in Unani as well as ethnomedicine. The various extracts of the plant (bark, fruit, leaves, seed, and flowers) have been disclosed to be cardiotonic, alexipharmic and stomachic, hypotensive, antibacterial, anthelmintic, anti gastric ulcers, teeth cleaner and renewable sources of energy. This review is an attempt to compile and document information on conventional uses and phytochemical properties of Mimusops elengi Linn. unripen fruits. The antidiarrhoeal activity of pet ether, chloroform and methanol extracts of Mimusops elengi unripen fruits were assessed using castor oil-induced diarrhea model in rats. Further, the effects of pet ether, chloroform, and methanol extract on gastrointestinal tract motility after charcoal meal dispensed were evaluated. Loperamide was taken as positive control. The plant extracts showed decisive and significant (P<0.05) thwarting action against castor oil-induced diarrhea in rats...

Electrospinning is a process wherein polymer fibers are developed on applying high voltage. Its principle is based on charge accumulation on the surface of the polymer solution as a result of high voltage which causes the solution to get ejected out as a thin jet by forming a taylor cone. Nanospider is a modified version of electrospinning developed by Technical University in the year 2003. The idea of generating a technology named nano spider was to produce electrospun fibers around 50-400 nm in diameter from the free liquid surface. This technique is employed in many fields such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, wound healing, enzyme immobilization etc due to its easy maintenance, a requirement of less quantity of raw material and its ease of fabrication. Advancements in technology have increased the need for nanofibers and their products which could not be delivered by the conventional fiber spinning method. This urges the need to develop methods such as nanospider which can generate polymer fibers in high...

Scientific investigations revealed that the study of P2Y1 receptors is very much essential in the current scenario because of their potential role in related to various disorders/diseases like thrombosis, cardiovascular problems. P2Y1 receptors belong to G protein-coupled receptors, an important target for ADP induced platelet aggregation. Blockade of P2Y1 receptors leads to the treatment of thrombosis with a potentially improved safe margin. Hence, it is essential to select targeted molecules as P2Y1 receptor antagonists. The present work is to explore P2Y1 receptor antagonists from different series of synthetic compounds by using docking, virtual screening, and toxicity studies. Docking studies were performed and scored to evaluate ligand binding affinities. The present work could be used as a tool to show how different scaffold structures are utilized for the development of suitable P2Y1 receptor antagonists for platelet aggregation...

Lornoxicam has been found to be not interacted by eperisone hydrochloride at 377 nm. Therefore, it is estimated directly as a single component in the mixture, whereas eperisone hydrochloride is throughout interfered with by lornoxicam in UV region. So, it was estimated in the mixture using a two-wavelength difference method. Lornoxicam was found to have same absorbance at 262 nm and 283 nm but not eperisone hydrochloride. So, a difference in absorbance of the mixture at 262 nm and 283 nm was directly proportional to the concentration of eperisone hydrochloride. The calibration curves were validated according to ICH guidelines and were linear over the concentration range tested (10-20 µg/ml for lonoxicam and 3-24 µg/ml for eperisone hydrochloride). The curves were found to be precise and accurate as shown by acceptable limits of %RSD (0.37%-0.66%) and percent recoveries (98.73% ± 1.02%-102.44% ± 0.90%) respectively for both the drugs in mixture as well as in pure...
