Paneer has great value in diet because it is a rich source of high quality proteins, fat, and minerals. Paneer has a short life span of 2-3 days of refrigeration storage, but freshness of the product is lost after one day. So, the present study was carried out to know the quality of different brands of paneer sold in Delhi City. A total of 80 packets of eight different brands were analyzed for their quality. Wide variation in chemical composition like moisture (49% to 64%), fat (13.5% to 24%), protein (18% to 23%) and lactose (1.75% to 4.23%) existed in the samples. Total bacterial count was observed between 25.40 and 41.10 × 104/gm, yeast and mold count was observed to be 13.75 and 20.90 × 101/gm, coli-form count was 3.95 to 7.65 × 101/gm and Staphylococcus aureus count was 1.10 to 2.20 × 101/gm. The objectives of the present study were to use design of experiments (DOE) for formulation and optimization liposomal formulations and study the impact of process variables on quality attributes of the complex liposomal formulation system. Several factors may have contributed to the slow pace of commercialization of liposome drug products during the last decade: 1) the difficulties associated with identifying the formulation and process design critical quality attributes of these complex systems and 2) Higher manufacturing cost due to low preparation reproducibility and low entrapment of therapeutic active agents. Thus, a central composite design (CCD) was used for the optimization of the liposomal formulation. The aim of this present investigation is to identify the most important risk factor for cancer by means of a mathematical model. The study begins with considering some types of cancer viz. breast, colorectum as well as lung and bronchus cancer as most of the cancer patients suffer from these types of cancers. Introduction: Green leafy vegetables are known for their anti-alzheimer potential. There are many leafy vegetables, however, that have not been examined scientifically for this activity. The present study was designed to evaluate antioxidant and antiacetylcholinesterase activities of two Brassica species namely B. napus and B. oleracea var. acephala, along with the comparison of their pharmacognostic characters and phytochemical profiles. Methods: A comparative evaluation of macroscopy, microscopy, physico-chemical parameters and qualitative phytochemical screening was carried out on leaves of the selected plants as per Indian Pharmacopoeia. Further, a parallel analysis of antioxidant and anti-acetylcholinesterase activities of both species was done using DPPH and Ellman assay, respectively, followed by standardisation of the extracts on the basis of total phenol and total flavonoid content. Results: The hydromethanolic extract of B. oleracea var. acephala showed higher radical scavenging activity than that of B. napus.
