Most of the simulation methods for soft tissue modeling involve tetrahedral meshes which is quite complex and takes much computation time. Instead, this work attempts to make use of delaunay triangulated mesh that consists of unique mathematical properties suited for simulating soft tissues. Although, triangulated mesh is not so complex yet effective in producing elements of good quality. It even reduces computation time compared to the tetrahedral mesh by providing more geometric flexibility. In virtual surgery, it is essential to model the layers of soft tissues of human skin to perform a simulation of deformation and removal of cells. Based on this the multilayered model of skin prototype is developed in a pre-process and used for interactive modeling. Background: This study aims to correlate the ankle/brachial index (ABI) with the severity of diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetic patients. Material and Methods: A hospital-based prospective study of 100 types 2 diabetic patients aged 40 to 80 years were recruited from the outpatient department. Ankle/brachial index scores and the presence and stage of diabetic retinopathy were assessed and analyzed. Results: Significant associations between abnormal ABI score and severe diabetic retinopathy (p<0.05) was found. Background: Topical NSAIDs are the first line choice of drug for management Osteoarthritis elderly patients, which produce less systemic exposure compared with oral NSAIDs. Now a day’s several topical formulations are available. This study provides a comparison between two various topical diclofenac formulations. Methods: 12 weeks, randomized controlled trial to evaluate dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) based diclofenac solution and Linseed oil based diclofenac gel safety and efficacy profile. 43 men and women, age 40-65 years, with radiologically confirmed primary OA of the knee were included in this study. The included participants treated with DMSO based diclofenac solution; 40 drops 3 times daily directly to the painful knee without a massage (test group) and Linseed oil based diclofenac gel; 1 gram 3 times daily to the painful knee(control group). The study aimed to develop a specific, exact, selective, precise and accurate Reversed-Phase Stability Indicating Ultra-fast Liquid Chromatography (RP-UFLC) strategy is created and validated for the determination of glimepiride in the tablet dosage form. The method showed an adequate separation for glimepiride from their degradation products. The optimum separation was achieved by using 250 mm × 4.6 mm C18 column (5 μm) with a mixture of potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate adjusted to pH 4.6 using (orthophosphoric acid) and acetonitrile in the ratio of 75:25 at a flow rate of 1 ml/min. The detection was carried out at 236 nm, and the retention time was found to be 5.9 min. Linearity was observed (correlation coefficient r2 0.9989). % R.S.D was found to be less than 2%.
